This Week in the ACC - 2/10-2/16

Here's a great bit of homerism for you. Earlier today, the headline on wral's sports page was about Carolina's delightful loss. An hour or so ago, the headline was replaced with Duke's loss to Clemson.

So wral decided that Duke's loss in a game three days ago was better to have than a headline about Carolina's loss last night.

i am dreaming bigger...i'm dreaming that they finish well enough to keep HD employed for another year.

Hell, i'd even take a UNC sweet 16 every few years just to keep him there.

UNC isn't making the tourney without winning all of their remaining games and getting to at least Friday in the ACC tourney. if they go 4-2 or worse, they could beat Duke by 50 and its not getting them an at large. 4-2 or worse, I don't see this team motivated to keep playing.

Heels looked good :ROFLMAO:
Clemson beat them by 20....but if the game had been in Chapel Hill the ACC would have created a 21+ point swing.

That's the WRAL way.

I don't think they are motivated. The players know what the issue is with the team -- they are weak inside. The players know who is responsible for addressing that -- it's not them, and it's too late to fix it. The press conferences make me think that Hubert knows it too.

They will be motivated for the season finale and possibly the ACCT. NCSU is borderline because they know the Pack finds new ways to lose whenever they encounter baby blue.

Here's Torvik's updated odds on making the tourney:

SMU - 36%
UNC - 24%
Pitt - 17%
Wake - 10%

Big game tonight Pitt @ SMU. SMU is projected to win by 6.4pts on Torvik.

FIFY

And with that win, Clemson goes to 4-0 versus Tobacco Road this year. Have they ever beaten all four NC teams in one season?
