NCAA Football 2024 (national discussion)

England leading Ireland two-nil, 77’.

(sorry, not NCAA. These guys don’t get paid as much to play for their national teams or generally donate their salaries)

Hook ‘em!!

The Texas Longhorns stampede into the Big House and destroy the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines in front of 111,000. 😮
Yup. Michigan is in all likelihood just a very average team this year, while Texas looks really good. If Michigan’s QB play doesn’t get better (even though it has nowhere to go but up) there’s going to be a loud chorus of “Why didn’t you get a QB from the portal?” from the fair weather fans, despite the reality that Michigan was winning a National Title while most teams were raiding the portal.

Personally, I’ve got a lot of faith in Sherrone Moore, but the expectations for his first season were always a bit unrealistic given what Michigan lost.

Yeah it’s basically a new team for Michigan. That being said, the strength of the team is its D line and they got dominated by the Texas big guys up front. That plus far superior QB play and it was no contest. Texas looks like a complete team to me.
