Good news! But don't you worry about the Weauxf Gods?Fantastic round by Alex, only one morning golfer was better. If he can hold his position through the weekend he will guarantee his card. He can even afford a little slippage.
Kevin still in good position. One bad hole.
Two tournaments left after this, and both Alex and Kevin playing their best golf of the year in the fall. I give Alex a 99% chance of keeping his card, and Kevin up to 70%.
Think your projection for Kevin too optimistic, at current place in the field he’s 135. Alex I agree with, he’s in.Fantastic round by Alex, only one morning golfer was better. If he can hold his position through the weekend he will guarantee his card. He can even afford a little slippage.

After the last few days, I'm not worrying about anything ever again.Good news! But don't you worry about the Weauxf Gods?
That had to be one of if not the best days for a Duke contingent at a tournament. And the overall positioning going into the weekend must be up there too…Round 2 is in the books:
T1 Greyserman -12
T15 Streelman -7
T21 Smalley -6
After a double, Max is back to -2 for the round and one off the lead. Coverage is now on the Golf Channel.Greyserman is -2 through three holes and in sole possession of 1st place at -14.
Alex had a mediocre weekend but his lead on #126 remains 43 points, so he held his ground with another week in the bag. He should now safely have secured his card, but a perfect storm of finishers below him over the next 2 weeks could oust him. I give that about a 0.01% chance of happening.Kevin now 84 points behind #125, Alex 43 above #126.
Streelman +2Thursday tee times:
Alex Smalley 7:06 am #1
Kevin Streelman 7:17 am #1
They've made the course tougher (or maybe it's windy), cuts here are typically around -5.Today's tee times:
Smalley 11:36 am #10
Strreelman 11:47 am #10
Projected cut is -1 but it will probably move to -2.
From yesterday's broadcast, it looked to be super windy. Not a great day for low scoring on that course. They've made the course tougher (or maybe it's windy), cuts here are typically around -5.
