Yeah when he is getting birdies on par 5s he is usually playing wellWell, it hasn't worked for Alex this year. Hobgoblins and all.
And Alex is now -2 through 3!

Your fault for pointing out my fickleness. And of course immediately bogeys the next hole…
Worse than you (and I) thought- Alex is T-52 and likely will drop a couple more. Streelman now -4 thru 15, which is T-34 but this course is playing EASY with the leader at -12 and 10 players -7 or better.Missed a 4-footer for birdie on 17 and bogeyed the last. Okay round, but what could have been. Currently T16 but most of the morning still to finish, I expect him to be in the 30-40 range at the end of the day.
Hopefully you didn’t jump the gun, but many players have just started their rounds. The cut projected to be around -7 to -8 yesterday. Alex is -2 thru 6 holes and likely needs to go -2 the rest of the way to get to -7 with Kevin.Streelman cards a -2 (70) today to improve to -7 for the Championship. He is currently T23 headed to the weekend.
Well played! Looks like the cut will be -6 and both are safe. It seems the margin for error on the tour is razor thin and it must be such a mental grind.Hey AG, glad I kept my big trap shut today?
Really good day by Alex, -6 and currently T21. Two more really good days and he could have a shot at a win (probably needs at least 1 excellent day).
Alex and Kevin both playing in Utah next week, would be nice to have some momentum from a great weekend.
