Blue Devils in the NBA 2024-2025

It's heartbreaking to see Zion injured - yet again. I'll always root for him, but it's impossible for me to turn a blind eye to his perpetual injury status. If I were the Pelicans, I'd seriously consider trying to trade him (if I could get a decent return on my investment - might be hard at this point).

A change of scenery might be what Zion needs as well. Some destinations in our life are meant to be pitstops, not homes. Perhaps that's the case with Williamson right now.
Yeah. It just doesn’t feel like he’s going to get it figured out.

DJ Steward dropped 25 with 6 dimes this afternoon for the Windy City Bulls against Grand Rapids. Looks like Joey Baker is playing for Grand Rapids, but did not play today. I’ll be curious to see how long it takes the Bulls to bring DJ up to the big squad. He played well in the preseason, and the Bulls are really mediocre so far this season.

DJ is on a 2-way deal so he is limited in how many games he can play for the Bulls. It is not at all uncommon for 2-way players to start the season in the G-League and only get added to the active NBA roster later in the season as players get injured and the team needs guys to fill those spots. Thus far, the Bulls have been pretty healthy.

McCain was brilliant on Sunday night, and even after just nine games, it certainly feels like the Sixers pulled off a heist with the No. 16 pick in June's NBA Draft. McCain's career-best 27 points powered the Sixers to a thrilling overtime victory, and he looks every bit of the part of an unquestionably rotation-caliber player thanks to his shooting, ability to space the floor and scoring chops. Even on the defensive end of the floor, the rookie has exceeded expectations (though there remains work to be done).

McCain got his first Sixers start tonight and has 16 points at halftime against the Cavs.
His PT is expanded partly due to Maxey's recent injury and tonight both George and Embiid are out for injury management.

Jalen Johnson scored 18 pts, grabbed 12 rbs and dished out 10 asts as the Atlanta Hawks beat the defending champion Boston Celtics 117-116 in Boston. This guy is going to be a star in the NBA.

Crazy how things go sometimes, isn’t it?
He may be the best player on that team. Trae Young obviously is talented, but it’s debatable whether he makes the team any better.

Also Wendell Moore has returned from limbo and is getting minutes for the Pistons tonight.
