2024 Olympics - Men's Basketball - Gold!

Can someone explain to me how curry could have 1 point and also be 100% on his free throws? If he got fouled on a made shot, it would me an “and 1” and he could be 100% with only one free throw. But if it was not on a made shot, it should have either been “1 and 1” or 2 shots…and then he wouldn’t be 100% on his FTs. Is there a different international rule that allows for just 1 shot on a non-shooting foul (or on a missed shot)? Or are his stats wrong on the Olympic App. This is confusing to those of us with just a small amount of bball rule knowledge.

Did one of his team members enter the lane too soon and nullify one of his free throws?

There was a breakaway foul or something like that that only got one FT

Curry seems to have had a very bad shooting night, but Kerr was determined to keep him in until he finally hit one.

Is that an international rule? Or maybe it was a one shot technical?
I was doing Peloton so I couldn’t listen, but there was a foul on Davis after a rebound and USA was trying to fast break- the foul was called and then Curry was shooting one FT so that was my assumption.

Clutch 3 by RJB to put Canada up 5 with 40 seconds left.
RJ is off to a start: 63 points in Canada's three wins as they sweep the toughest bracket, good for third in the tournament behind Hachimura and some Greek. And 63 efficient points.

Hoping for that all-North America gold medal game over here.

That draw will be of interest as assuming the United States does not try to flashback to 2004 against Puerto Rico, they will be the other top seed next to Germany.

South Sudan, on the other hand, must either defeat Serbia or lose by only one point to advance.
