I was also about to make a comment poking fun at stickdog's typo, but then it occurred to me that perhaps it was intentional that this was a recruiting "coop" given our new player's first name

I don't get it. Cooper and barrel?
Zion, IMO, had one of the best freshman years of any college player, ever. It would be a tall task to have a better freshman year than Zion.
I think out-freshmaning Paolo is doable. Banchero had several rough patches. One rough patch, in the preseason, scoring:
- 10 vs Gardner-Webb
- 11 vs Lafayette
- 12 vs South Carolina State
- 14 vs Ohio State (on 4-14 shooting, ouch)
February is traditionally a tough month for freshman, and Banchero looked really dominant in March, when it mattered most.
However, I don't think Banchero set the "Duke Freshman Season" bar at a level that is not passable.
