ND /Texas A&M how many synonym phrases are there for poetic justice?

Florida was a step up. However, more than anything else it was Steve Spurrier’s alma mater and his dream job. No one could begrudge him that opportunity. He was also transparent about what he was doing throughout the process of taking that job.

I do not have a problem with his leaving ... it was to be expected. I have an issue with the manner of his leaving. He got Duke into a bowl game (back when being in a bowl means a lot more than it does now) for the first time in what, about 30 years? It was novel, it was exciting ... and his team appeared completely unprepared for the game. I believed then, and still do, that he blew off the preparations for the bowl game in favor of getting an early start on his new job. That opened my eyes, and a lot of what I saw from him while at Florida pretty much confirmed my opinion that he is a jerk.

And I have to admit ... how he left Duke comes far short of how he left South Carolina. If I needed any confirmation of my opinion about him ... that event sealed the deal.
