If I was a betting man I would say both are gone next year.Does anyone get the feel that both Proctor and Foster will be back next year?

No. He may not get it due to his numbers not popping off the charts, but anyone who has really watched him would see that Tyrese is playing at an all-ACC level. He has achieved what he wanted by coming back to Duke (twice) and elevating several aspects of his game in a big way. He's ready. He wasn't after either of his first two years, but he is now.Does anyone get the feel that both Proctor and Foster will be back next year?
One goes, one comes back. I think Jon will want the experience and continuity that one brings alongside hopefully Brown, Evans, Harris, Ngongba
There was a podcast interview he did in the preseason where maybe Bilas asked him about roster construction and he talked about ideally smaller recruiting classes and "1-2 transfers".No idea who will stay or go, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if we return 3 perimeter guys from this year's team. It just doesn't seem like that is the direction college basketball is going. And Scheyer certainly wasn't uncomfortable going into this season with just 2 returnees. I doubt he's counting on 5 returnees for next year. But you never know.

If you do the math, at least at the time, it was clear he was thinking about keeping more guys around. But I've been burned before...
Yes, we will see. I think you and I both agree that Jon got exactly the roster he wanted this year and it's paying off in a big way. I think he'll really want more than two of these guys back but roles and opportunity will matter. If we land Nate Ament, then two of the starters will be etched in stone and that impacts other guys.Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. To be clear: I don't think any coach wants to have massive turnover every year. But I think that may be the way of the world moving forward, at least for the time being until/unless there are further rules changes.
And worth noting that we only had 3 transfers (at least in terms of transfers who actually play) this year, yet had only 2 returning players. With 4 commits already (and potentially 1 or 2 more), if we happen to have 2-3 transfers then the math gets complicated quickly (prospects don't seem to be willing to be the 11th/12th/13th scholarship player for very long anymore).
I'd love to see us able to keep 5 guys, but given how well we are recruiting the high school ranks and what Scheyer has managed to unlock on the transfer market this year, I'm definitely in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp.
Hoping Maliq Brown staysYes, we will see. I think you and I both agree that Jon got exactly the roster he wanted this year and it's paying off in a big way. That looked bad.Johni Broome's ankle just bent into a right angle and he could put no pressure on it headed to the locker room.
Not the way I want Coop to win NPOY. Hope he's OK.Johni Broome's ankle just bent into a right angle and he could put no pressure on it headed to the locker room.
Bruce Pearl says they think it is a long-term injury but they will wait for MRI results tomorrow to find out. That looked bad.
Rumors of Auburn taking a step back may be exaggerated. Up big at half vs Miss. St.Broome out "indefinitely". https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...ri-reveals-left-ankle-sprain-for-auburn-star/
Not a high ankle sprain, which is good news. Wonder if Auburn fans have started a vigil?
