Me too. I love the blue Pentel pencils. I have specific uses for pencils and for pens, which will make no sense to anyone but me.
 
One of my sons, at age 7 or 8, when the family was watching a Duke-UNC match-up decided to be a contrarian and started rooting for Carolina. I told him that he was allowed to root for Carolina but not in my house and I made him go outside. He didn't think I was serious until I put a coat on him and pushed him out the door. I told him he could come back in when he'd learned to keep his mouth shut. He could still root for Carolina if he wanted to but I was not to be made aware of it by any word, sound, or deed. He came back in after about 5 minutes and to be honest, I don't think he's watched a basketball game since. Duke rejected him twice, so I wouldn't call him a fan, but he doesn't pull for Carolina either so, success.

My kids all knew during their college application process that I wouldn't forbid them from applying to UNC but if they went there, I wasn't going to pay for it. Luckily none of them tested me on that. I was serious but mostly because we don't live in NC - the out of state tuition wouldn't have been worth it for any of my kids.
