The longest thread ever

Despite being an absolute screw-up, I have found the most amazing woman. I had an incredibly bad run of people who were NOT good people it turns out. Rich and Mountain know the details pretty well. But somehow, this lady is really into me. And I am not going to screw it up. Feels good to not be in fight or flight anymore.

I didn’t post about our girl but she had surgery to remove a malignant tumor last Tuesday and we are awaiting the biopsy and hoping it didn’t spread. It is the worst that they can’t tell us what is wrong or understand what we are trying to do for them, but they make our lives so much better…

So sad to hear that, after all you've been through lately. My condolences, and I hope you have an empathetic vet who performs the necessaries in a loving manner (I say that, because we have had at least one vet who made us feel like real <wankerized> for putting a loved pet down when he could have had his suffering extended through extraordinary means; a responsible owner is the very best person to determine when the time comes).
 
Interesting, CB. Your posts to the Wordle forum this morning are two-day-old-puzzle results, and this one here likewise. Bad morning for you?
 
3 AM in a rainstorm in Tidewater, Virginia with the power going out on intermittently my iPhone, running low on my months allotment of data and I know I completed the puzzle Wordle in three tries. I guess those posts haven’t shown up yet in my inbox.
