One of my biggest pet peeves of the old board was the inability to post animated gifs (I know it was possible, but only certain links worked while most didn't).

Let's try it here:

-> lots of links still don't work, but at least the board is better about telling you right away that it doesn't work, rather than letting you post it and then having it not show up

Is there a way to go directly to the last page of a thread?

In the thread list, if you click on the timestamp for the last post it will take you directly to that last post - whether or not you have unread messages.

Clicking on the thread title of a thread takes you to your first unread post (like the former “new” button) or to the thread’s first post if you have no unread messages.

If you were up to date before the conversion. Click “mark forums read” at the top of the page. Then all threads with new posts will appear in bold, and if you click on the thread it should take you to the first new post.

Same ability, different mechanism to engage it.
