They played the first 30 minutes poorly... The level of effort given by pretty much every player not named "Zackery" in white and orange in the first half was absolutely embarrassing... The number of times Hunter just watched his guy blow right by him in the first half was perhaps only exceeded by the number of times Schefflin failed to box anyone out... The effort put into the dirty details was completely nonexistent until around 10 minutes left in the game... You can't just wait until the last 8-10 minutes of the game to show up...
Absolutely. The game was obviously lost in the first 30 minutes. Just saying their strategy the final 3 was equally odd.

The game was at Clemson, had everything go right for them, had a generous home whistle, and needed Cooper to fall on a wet floor for the Tigers to win. Brownell admitted that they played over their head in the 2nd half just like they are playing well below their ability right now. McNeese is a game they could lose if they played well throughout.
Let’s not forget Coop was dealing with the flu, too.

Could you clarify? Was that a reference to the religious beliefs of a Clemson coach, and not even the basketball coach?

What place does that have here?
Yes, it was a reference to the Clemson football coach, not Brownell. I wasn't making fun of Dabo's beliefs, but rather his penchant for throwing those beliefs in everyone's face whenever Clemson wins a big game (while conspicuously failing to mention Jesus when they lose). I was annoyed that Clemson got all fired up to beat Duke this year and then pooped the bed against a team they really should have beaten. Every time I try to pull for them, they let me down. I believe it's called "Clemsoning"?

I have always thought it’s odd to thank God or JC or The Flying Spaghetti Monster when an athlete wins, but no mention of any of them when they lose.

It's a complicated topic that has caused some fairly significant fights on this board. I'd suggest leaving it be or taking it to PMs. I promise people will get upset regardless pf where the conversation goes.

Coach turning back into a pumpkin for McNeese.
Yep and Purdue looks great. Another consternation I have regarding talent in non-ACC conferences.

Hope we are ready for a huge upgrade in talent and coaching we haven’t seen 3+ months (Illini excepted).

I'll bet they have the same thoughts about possibly facing Duke. 😉😎
