I can pretty much guarantee there is no team of the 32 left that are saying, “Bring on Duke because we have more talent and are better coached.”I'll bet they have the same thoughts about possibly facing Duke.![]()

Understand, but dominating the “Sunbelt or whatever” conference we played in is not good preparation for our next 1-5 games. McNeese looks shell-shocked and not prepared for talent/hustle upgrade from Thursday.I can pretty much guarantee there is no team of the 32 left that are saying, “Bring on Duke because we have more talent and are better coached.”
The game may not be there, but the coach certainly seems to already be in Raleigh.Coach turning back into a pumpkin for McNeese.
I think Clemson has as much talent as Purdue and a lot of other teams in this tournament. But, they laid an egg and McNeese played above their heads. On Thursday, Quadir Copeland showed why he was recruited to play for Syracuse. Today he is showing why Syracuse wasn’t sad to see him go.Coach turning back into a pumpkin for McNeese.
wade will be a perfect fit for an NC state school!I wonder if McNeese learned how to get really far behind and then dominate enough in the second half to lose by 2…
As a State grad, and, therefore, distant supporter, I am.not sure if I like it. I remember when he was at LSU, even before the scandal, he always gave off a whiny, slimy used car salesman vibe. I think he is at least a solid coach that will probably get State back to mid-tier ACC team, but i feel like that is kinda his ceiling. We will see.wade will be a perfect fit for an NC state school!
In all seriousness, I think they're going to like him over there. he seems like a smart guy, and charismatic.
it'll come down to whether he can manage the NIL....and if his slimy riz can do that, I think he can do well. Woofie fans tasted success a couple years ago, and it was sweet. As a State grad, and, therefore, distant supporter, I am.not sure if I like it. I do think it was a move State needed to make. He should be able to drum up money.it'll come down to whether he can manage the NIL....and if his slimy riz can do that, I think he can do well. Woofie fans tasted success a couple years ago, and it was sweet.
I remember Proctor clamping Cryer on a critical possession in last year's S16 game against Houston when we were up by 4. I think our trio of Kon, Sion and Rese match up really well with Uzan, Cryer and Sharp. I'd prefer not to see Houston because of how connected they play, but I think we match up as well as anyone can with them.LJ Cryer might not be guardable
Yeah I agree we probably have the best perimeter to match up with Houston, but those shots he was hitting off the dribble are really hard to stop. Our offense is better than Houston’s as long as some guy like Cryer doesn’t become unconscious…I remember Proctor clamping Cryer on a critical possession in last year's S16 game against Houston when we were up by 4. Zags playing well.......Houston just keeps answering with some tough threes.Houston appears to be too tough for the Zags. This is a really tough Houston team.
