Thank God for Malik, Flagg, Knueppel, and James. However the tide turned when Foster came in and made 3-4 straight big time plays to turn it around. We fed off his leadership and our team seemed to play like themselves once he let the air out of the building.

Amazing job Foster! Way to step up when your number was called. Love this team!

the game totally changed on Maliq's entry to the game in the 2nd half. The defense got way better and then he hooped it up for 8 with 2 3s! Amazing
Yes, no more Man-Man handoffs. The offense really picked up. However, Man-Man did not have a bad game. He defended around the basket well and rebounded well. I thought everyone played well.

GoDuke!

There were a lot of excellent performances. But for me, the game changed in our favor when Brown came in and completely disrupted the RJ Davis high ball screen action. It doesn’t hurt that Broen also had the highest BPM on the team tonight.

To me, Brown or Foster are the emotional choices. They were key to the comeback and ultimate lead. But James played well the entire game. Sure, he scored. But 35 minutes, 8 boards, 3 steals, 16 points on 6-8. The only other real choice to me would be Knueppel, but I'm going with James.

Brown isn’t JUST the emotional choice. He also had the best BPM on the team tonight. He was a beast. And unlike usual, he was effective on both ends of the court this time.

I definitely have no issue with a vote for James, who was also excellent. But I would classify a Brown vote as purely an emotional vote. The stats also support a vote for him too.

I personally didn't think Brown played all that well in the 1st half, while James played well the entire game. Not that I don't appreciate what Brown did do, especially in the 2nd. I think his two big 3's is what might be swaying people.

As someone who voted for Brown, it wasn’t the 3s that got my vote. It was his defensive impact in eliminating the offensive advantage UNC had.

That, and he had the best BPM and best +/- on the team. The 3s were icing on the cake.
