Kon is basically the teams sole playmaker . Give him some of Foster or Gillis’s minutes.

Isaiah would be a deer in the headlights in these physical games without the reps these other guys are getting. Jon knows it. No knock against Isaiah.

I think he would have gone far better than 1-16 from 3 in the two games against Kentucky and Kansas.

I was happy of course but the Arizona win is the Michigan St win last year and Iowa the year before. I expected to win those game against those teams that would end up being a 5ish seed or lower. I want a win against a team I know will be a 1 or 2 seed. Only Auburn is left.

Especially if you think Evans doesn't deserve at least some minutes based on his play AND Kon/Calebs performances so far.
Must be it. But Jon should know there's gamers and there's practice players. We talking about practice. Sure Kon look amazing in practice, even Foster. However, both look extremely pedestrian against ranked opponents
The Mullahs don't want Evans to play, and you don't want to mess with The Mullahs.
Except winning in Tucson is completely different than beating MSU or Iowa on a neutral court. Not all game locations are created equal. Do not underestimate the strength of a road win against a quality opponent like Arizona.
Lets stop looking at this from an offensive perspective. Given what we've seen from Evans, do you think he would have given us more defensive presence against the KU guards and wings? Cause I don't. And that isnt a knock on Evans as a player, but I believe defense is what is keeping him from seeing more minutes.

Exactly. The question isn't whether Evans can shoot better than someone else, but whether Duke will play better when he's in.
