It's the Kenny Dillingham Effect. Only 34, he is Arizona State's 2nd-year head coach, and is playing for a Big 12 title.
Dillingham was born April 28, 1990, which is 26 days after Arizona State's men's basketball coach was a Duke point guard having digestive issues while losing the national championship game to UNLV.

In the "Been There Done That" department, UCF hires (again) Scott Frost. Everyone remembers the success he had there before, as he led UCF to an undefeated season in 2017 but still got shutout of the playoffs. That was one of the first drivers for expansion.
Then he went off to Nebraska, didn't have any success and got fired. Now the Knights think he do it again.
