Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I didn't in one single of my posts that "I don't care". I said "I'm not interested", and I explained why. The fact is that I do care, but knowing how FB recruiting works, why should I set myself up for disappointment knowing very well that a guy who is "committed" actually isn't? It's far different than basketball.

So while I will indeed celebrate on signing day, I won't be complaining as you will when the guy you've become invested in winds up at another school. The state of CFB recruiting sucks, but that's the way it is. I'm just not up for setting myself up being bummed out when the recruiting class I was thrilled about isn't the one we wind up with.

So, follow me here, by throwing an unsolicited “I’m not interested” in a thread where people are engaged, all you’re doing is making the people that are clearly interested in the topic fairly angry. See the multiple comments in this thread. Why? Well, you are kind of bringing the mood down for everyone for no reason. And it sort of comes across that you’re saying it’s not worth discussing (which obviously, the people who are discussing it think is worth while). You don’t have to comment on every thread if it’s not interesting to you. You can, but people may get a little flustered (and justifiably so)

To be clear, I don’t think people would have been upset if you say you hate CFB recruiting or that it’s upsetting the way it works. But just piping in to say you’re not interested rubs people the wrong way. Hope that makes sense

It looks as tho 4* LB. Bradley Goompers has flipped his commitment to Michigan. Boomers is ranked 129 in country and a tough lose for Diaz

Yup, seems word of a Gompers flip was premature. He has confirmed he will sign with Duke!

Earlier this cycle, Duke beat Clemson, UGA, and South Carolina in a recruiting battle. Now we have held off Michigan and Penn State... Diaz is really doing something special. In the past we almost never heard Duke's name alongside these football powerhouses when it came to recruiting. Consider me wowed!

He got a great recruit in Gompers. I just watched some video of the guy....I think Duke recruited him as receiver, but he's a pure animal on defense too.....fast, strong, aggressive.......gonna be fun to watch. Maybe try him two way a bit.... like Travis Hunter at Colorado.

7:00 a.m. is the first time that the signed agreements are allowed to be sent in, and a number of prospects will get theirs in the first moment they're able to. They'll be having signing ceremonies at their schools later on today, and Diaz will host a press conference for the media at 11:10 a.m. All financial aid agreements are expected to be in place prior to Diaz's appearance at that time.

We'll update the player's cards that follow with their signature as they're officially received in the article below.

FWIW, which is not much, ESPN has us with two 4 stars. Gompers and Davis. Kara is a three. But, all three are signed, and that has me smiling. This list shows who is "signed" and who is "committed".
