Not really. Big Vince was a legit five starI know it's still a long shot, but if Bryce does commit to Duke, he would be Duke's highest rated football recruit ever.
I beg to differ. V.O. was rated 0.9410 by 247. The composite rating for Bryce is 0.9698.Not really. Big Vince was a legit five star
Vince was a mega recruit, I don't care about "composite ratings" from 247. Vince was our biggest get ever. 247 has Scott Bracey and Brandon King as two of our top four recruits ever, enough said. On offense, Duke added a pair of high three-star wide receivers out of Georgia in Gerritt Kemp and Jaivon Solomon.
Gerritt Kemp has flipped to the Wolfpack. Sorry for the bad news, but I came across this while looking at other NC State stuff.
It's too bad. He was only 10,000 percent committed to Duke, so a change was imminent.
Earlier today Nate Sheppard (Mandeville, LA) committed to Duke. The other finalists were Cal, Cincinnati, Northwestern, and Tulane.
Mandeville senior and Duke commitment Nate Sheppard rushed for 139 yards on eight carries, including highlight-reel touchdowns of 67 and 36 yards after sitting out the controlled portion of the scrimmage.
“I sat the first 40 plays, so I was able to coach my teammates up and watch what they were doing,” said Sheppard, who also had a 28-yard TD run called back by a holding penalty. “Once I stepped on the field, I turned it up a little bit, and we got going. Getting in the end zone is always exciting, but I’ve got to thank the O-line for doing their job. Everyone was blocking out there tonight.”
