Up top we talked about the craziness of MTG and Laura Loomer going at it on X, along with her also bringing in Lindsey Graham to the fight as well. His campaign is in mild freakout mode over her influence, which is growing. Where do you think eating pets came to Trump from? Out of the dark corners of reddit and 4-chan? Possibly, but more likely Loomer literally told it to him face to face.

I figured she was just some whack job that he followed on his social media, but no, she's some whack job that actually flies on his jet. The Harris campaign has to love it, as Granpa buys into this stuff and spreads it, making himself sound just as crazy as the conspiracy theories themselves.
When you stop listening to the political minds that know what they are talking about and favor the voices of the insane, your campaign is in trouble.
Loomer traveled on Trump’s jet to his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday and to Sept. 11 memorial services Wednesday. Her presence at the latter infuriated some Democrats and Republicans because one of the many conspiracy theories she has promoted is the false notion that the terrorist assault on the U.S. was an “inside job.” It wasn’t.

Moreover, her presence reflects Trump’s loss of faith in his campaign aides and their concomitant fear of upsetting him in a time of crisis, according to people familiar with the situation. Last month, he tapped his 2016 campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, to be an adviser to his top advisers — a move widely viewed as a rebuke of the existing leadership crew.

A senior official from Trump’s 2020 campaign team said that helps explain why Loomer is no longer being kept at arm’s length.

Does anybody else suspect this whole Loomer-MTG flame war is an intentionally planted distraction to draw attention away from the debate? Undecided voters won't give a hoot about who said what between these two on Twitter/X, but they're occupying a lot of the news cycle away from anything substantive (i.e. negative news about Trump).

The implication I took from the post I responded to was that by the pendulum "swinging too far" that somehow, "white dudes" were being prejudiced against through efforts to make workforces more diverse.

I'm still asking how. There's no evidence that's the case.

It's like a really sinister NIMBYism. DEI is fine, but if a white male I know doesn't get a job/promotion/accepted to a college, it's clearly DEI, not a problem with the candidate/applicant.

With all due respect to the youngsters, they are projecting. She paused because she was about to say "this President", but she didn't want to dignify him that much. The pause was so she could add "former" before it.

I know, "OK, Boomer." Far be it for me to remind anyone that she a Boomer, too.

I’m sorry - this is unspeakably vile. The Haitian migrants in Springfield are there legally. This is unvarnished racism coming from a candidate for VPOTUS. I have to think this will backfire bigly on them- if it doesn’t it says something very nasty about us.

Well that relationship between Trump and Loomer is trending into more salacious territory. Doubt it gets traction but if it does it can't be good for him. She's been spending more time with him that Melanie.

When I enrolled in State way back in the last century, we were promised a monorail from main campus to centennial....over 30 years *gulp* later...and still no monorail.

Water gets collected into the ponds and can be used for immigration or released in a steady flow into the system. Same applies to residential development.
