He was drafted by the Celtics with the #16 pick in 2016 and signed to a 4-year rookie deal in 2017. He played 74 games for Boston over 2 seasons, averaging about 6-7 minutes per game. He was waived in 2019.

I love the Olympics and it's awesome to see the players so excited to win for their country. Jayson laughing and clowning on the bench was gratifying to see. I think there will be more room for his skillset in LA, although if Kerr is still the coach he might want to get that in writing.
Also a shout out to the coaches, they also sacrificed a good chunk of their offseason to represent the USA.
