2024-2025 Men’s Basketball Season General Discussion

Is anyone watching Bayor vs Kansas? At roughly the 4 minute mark, how was that not a travel on Celestine (Prophecy)? Prior to catching the ball, he does the requisite hop, although in actuality, at least one foot was still on the floor when he caught the ball. After landing he then took another hop before rising to shoot. How is that not a travel?
He hit the shot to give Baylor the lead, but still...

I just turned it on and the announcers stated the refs were looking to see if there had been a flagrant 1. I can only imagine it involved Hunter Dickinson.

Is Jeremy Roach hurt? I haven’t watched Baylor much this year, but it doesn’t look like he’s played at all today. Omier having a big day. And what about this Kansas collapse?!
During Gameday they said Roach was questionable for the game. I’m not sure they said what the injury was. Concussion maybe?

Texas Tech is one of those under-the-radar teams I don't want to see in March. They just won at Houston in OT to end a bunch of their winning streaks, and the jinx thread missed the opportunity (Raider Red loves himself some Cougars, E2.)

Arkansas gets its 2nd SEC win by defeating UK 89-79, and Calipari gets his revenge. Reading Rupp’s Rafters should be about as much fun as IC tonight.
I felt that Kentucky’s players would feel a similar type of pressure as Duke’s team did in coach K’s last home game. The pressure that says you CAN’T lose this game can be stifling to an athlete or a team.

Meanwhile the Sooey Pigs would play free and loose, and the guys who came over from Kentucky would have something to prove.

Also, Kentucky’s defense is just not very good.

Houston lost at home to Texas Tech, which is a good team, BUT Tech lost its top scorer and its coach in the first half, over a very bad flagrant foul call. Tech's reserve players include former ACC players Federiko Federiko (Pitt) and Kerwin Walton (UNCheat).
