The longest thread ever

It happens, every so often. A newbie will show up here and make their version of the same dumb joke. The first time someone did that, I thought they were genuinely interested so I spent some time writing out a rather long post describing my impressions of what this thread had become touching on the community we feel, the inside jokes, the running themes, the bad puns - oh so very many bad puns - and, of course, PopTarts. Turns out, that first newbie making the joke was just a troll. All the others have been as well. So, if any newbie making the same dumb joke is actually interested in what goes on around here - read through the thing until you find that thoughtful first response.

I had a productive evening last night. I did three loads of laundry, made applesauce, watched a bunch of stuff and deleted it off my DVR . . . Notice what I did NOT do! Heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow where people will be scarce and the internet is sketchy at best! Oh, and Orange Blossom Bakery doughnuts.

Actually, I removed that part of posting after you responded. I am a moron. I apparently HAVE been on it and just forgot. Yes, this is what loops to the west to help save it from future washouts.
