One heck of a finish. With adequate odds, I’ll make a pie bet that the Chiefs go undefeated. You all know it’s gonna happen. Don’t even pretend you don’t agree with me. If you don’t, give me reasonable odds and I’ll make the bet.
Yep. But I mean, do we even need to watch the remainder of the season? It’s so obvious how it’s going to end.One heck of a finish.
I think there are a lot of guidelines for these things. I believe the rule is that the road team in the Thursday night game has to be at home the previous weekend, but not necessarily the home team. At a minimum, in this case they should have had the Eagles play the 1 pm game rather than the 4 pm game so they could get home at a more reasonable hour tonight - 3 hours isn't a huge difference but every little bit help. But TV gets what TV wants. Why do fhe Eagles have to play at Dallas on Sunday then at hone on Thursday? Schedule makers should minimize travel before Thursday games.

No chance the Chiefs go undefeated. I’ll give you 3 to 1 odds. And if you win the bet I’ll buy you and your wife a pie as well as pies for two of your friends (me??) and/or relatives. With adequate odds, I’ll make a pie bet that the Chiefs go undefeated. Lions loss won't be heartbreaking. They are getting whooped. Much different.Lions looking like they'll be joining that list of teams...
And he had been doing so well. Some were starting to talk him up as a potential MVP candidate.Goff is just throwing it up there and praying. Why? Five INTs on 20 passes. Just ridiculous.
Lions win. Wow.Lions loss won't be heartbreaking. They are getting whooped. Much different.
Wow indeed! I turned it off after Goff’s 5th interception.Lions win. Wow.
It looked like the Bronco kicker (Lutz) tried to kick that field goal up his centers butt. No way it wasn't going to get blocked. I told my wife the Chiefs have been the luckiest team I've ever seen.No chance the Chiefs go undefeated. I’ll give you 3 to 1 odds. And if you win the bet I’ll buy you and your wife a pie as well as pies for two of your friends (me??) and/or relatives.
What do you say, Southern?
I was all ready to take you up on that bet and then something unbelievable happened last night. The Lions, given up for dead, came roaring back and won a game they had no business winning. And that made me reconsider the Chiefs invulnerability. I actually think that Detroit has a shot at beating them in the SB. Therefore I'm no longer as ultra-confident as I was just a few hours ago. So no bet now.No chance the Chiefs go undefeated. I’ll give you 3 to 1 odds. And if you win the bet I’ll buy you and your wife a pie as well as pies for two of your friends (me??) and/or relatives.

This multi-year string of unbelievably good years is starting to make up for the horrible 80s and first part of the 90s when we considered giving up the season tickets. Chiefs would win the first couple of games in the season, giving us hope. They would then proceed to lose multiple games in the middle of the season and we would discuss giving up the tickets. They would finish the season with a 3 or 4 game win streak and sucker us back in for renewal.I was all ready to take you up on that bet and then something unbelievable happened last night. It's nice to have hope restored that KC isn't inevitable this year. Makes it more fun. Go Lions! Go Bills! Go Ravens! Go anyone that can beat the Chiefs.
P.S. Apologies to my good DBR buddy, @DukieInKansas.
No, Southern, I was only talking about the regular season, not the playoffs. The Chiefs could lose their first-round playoff game and you could still have won your bet. All they would have to do is win-out in the regular season. You’ve got 3 to 1 odds on this pie bet.I was all ready to take you up on that bet and then something unbelievable happened last night.
