So here we go. Minnesota's #1 draft pick, national championship-winning Michigan QB JJ McCarthy, is out for the season with a torn meniscus. Terrible break for the kid. That leaves the Vikings with Sam Darnold at QB. Good luck with that. Looks like it's a two team race in the division - Packers and Lions, both of whom should be strong.

Because the Jets are the Jets, Darnold is going to be a superstar and win the MVP. Leave the Jets, become a star. He will certainly have receiving talent he didn't have in NY.
 
My Seahawks are an unknown quantity this year with some great skills players, a new coach and a suspect line. I'm eager to see what we have. I don't think preseason will tell us much of anything.

I think Seattle is an undervalued, overlooked team. I think they’re a playoff team this year.

I hate it when my team wins preseason games. It never bodes well. They do much better when they lose in the preseason.

Come on SouthernDukie, you say this every year and it's getting tiresome. It's a wearisome schtick and just because you happen to think KC is amazing doesn't mean they are going to win. There are so many variables - injuries, close calls, weird bounces - it's hard to get back to the AFC Championship Game, much less win the Super Bowl. The odds of them doing that are...


Wait wut? They won three out of five? They went to four of five AFC Championship Games? They are the clear favorite again?

Geez, maybe I'll take this season off too.

OMG, would someone explain the line-up rules on kickoffs? I am in a time warp.

Also, just saw the Seahawks punt after a safety. Same question.
