Everyone that really knows me knows how bad I dislike the Cheats. However, I do respect RJ Davis. He was giving everything he had in the 2nd half. Throwing his body around, going 110 mph and trying to get his team the win. Now that Cadeau dude, I can't stand.

Agree with this. While I have a long list of Carolina players I hate (Bacot being the most recent), I have respect for RJ Davis. This was not a terribly hatable team for me individually. (Collectively, they can go to Hell of course).

Watching the UNC-Ole! Miss game outside the ESA between sessions had me thinking. I would never wish this on any Duke athlete, past or present, but why didn't the Cheaters try to sign Maalik Murphy to a NIL hoops deal if they keep falling short in all these comebacks? He could pass the ball late in the game, could avoid getting the contact that might produce a charge call, and he knows how to finish.

Honestly I felt bad for Trimble and RJ in the press conference, having to answer questions about how they felt and if was worse to get so close and then still lose…
But I did not feel sorry for Hubert. And he said “I hadn’t seen that (first half) team since Clemson.” But I think we saw it!

Gee, I wonder if playing Syracuse, State, Virginia, FSU, Miami, VT, ND & Wake had anything to do with that?

I wish I could find video of the end of Kenny's first attempt to be an analyst for TV. He did a game @UNC and screamed "We win! We win!" at the end of a game in the Doherty or early Williams era. I note he's been reassigned to the studio since then.

I am shocked, shocked I say, that UNC lost to a competent team. This was completely unexpected. If only we had a season's worth of mediocrity to better prepare us for this calamity.

Yeah, I mean they’ve been consistently beating quality teams all season, so this comes as a real shocker. It’s almost as if they didn’t belong here. Weird.
