The shooting stood out to me. I'm not sure how much you can take from these scrimmages, but multiple guys were firing at will with good success. Part of it is they are probably not driving with supreme intensity to avoid injuries, collisions, etc. So shooting may be slightly emphasized but nonetheless it was an encouraging display going 7-19 in Game 1 and 8-15 in Game 2 for 15-34 or 44%. Subtracting out the banks but also Spencer's buzzer heave it's still a great number.
I though Kon and Evans looked solid. Maliq had multiple deflections and disruptions. Khaman was mostly as advertised - a little raw but a presence at his size and length.
Caleb looked excellent and Tyrese less so. But it's one (two?) scrimmage so I'm good.
Coop almost looks effortless. He is going to be a joy to watch.
ETA: last year's was a 6-21 shooting display (29%) in a 32 minute scrimmage. For reference. I'm not doing deep dive farther than that.
