It's tough to say. Who is a better fit with the other four starters? Khaman offers elite rim protection. Could see him blocking 7-8 shots some games.Brown seems more ready to start at the 5 than Man Man.
I agree. I see Foster and Evans as starting guards. But Tyrese should get decent PT.I know this isn’t gonna be popular on this board but I think Proctor has to come off the bench. He is isn’t in the top 5 now.
Nah, he's shooting 100% in all the summer videos...I know this isn’t gonna be popular on this board but I think Proctor has to come off the bench. He is isn’t in the top 5 now.
I love Evans but if he plays more than 7-8 min/gm I would be shocked.I agree. I see Foster and Evans as starting guards. But Tyrese should get decent PT.
Why not just start the top 5 scorers from tonight? Foster, Flagg, Evans, Knueppel, HarrisMy suggestion for the starting lineup:
1. Foster PG
2. Evans SG
3. Flagg SF
4. Brown PF
5. Maluach C
I thought Evans looked really good tonight. Hard to see him as the man out.Didn't see much improvement from Tyrese today - inconsistent finishing and shooting. On the other hand I thought Caleb looked great and is ready to lead this team.
Of the freshmen outside of Cooper, Kon looks great and ready to contribute and honestly Darren as well if he can hold up on the defensive end. I think Isaiah will be the odd man out, not sure if his game is ready for the next level with his frame. Khaman is raw but will be a game changer as he develops.
The transfers (Sion, Mason and Maliq) all look like they'll be very solid contributors.
I predict:
Tyrese, Foster, Flagg, Brown, Maluach as the starting five with Kon, Sion and Mason first off the bench and Darren with spot minutes when we need shooting.
Kon was great the 1st half but then disappeared. He will be great off the bench. Why not just start the top 5 scorers from tonight? Foster, Flagg, Evans, Knueppel, Harris
I’m going with who I thought were the best players tonight, not the best scorers. I am pretty sure Jon should follow my advice. Why not just start the top 5 scorers from tonight? Foster, Flagg, Evans, Knueppel, Harris
