MBB: 2025 ACC Tournament general discussion

It's been that way for years. I think it's wisconsin that uses a really weird one no one else uses.

I wonder which would be worse, playing with an unfamiliar ball or having to play on that court BYU and Houston were on last night.

Good memory from the vault! It was Bo Ryan who used a Sterling basketball.

Fun quote about that ball from Izzo: "It was good when we played Wisconsin [with the Sterling ball]," Michigan State coach Tom Izzo quipped. "We just went out in the backyard, got a rock and tried to shoot with it."

New HC Greg Gard has since replaced this with the more common Wilson ball.

I just hope that Louisville’s defense is like Swiss Cheese tonight, and that we cut through it like a hot knife through soft cheese.

I had been kind of down on Khaman Maluach after the first game of the ACC tournament, but against Carolina and Louisville. I think he really came into his own. It shocked me to see him play so well.

If it continues into the big tournament, look out rest of the field. For real.
