Keatts Fired, Wade Hired

Wade already poaching top talent from McNeese

I'm sure many are asking "Who the heck is Amir Khan and why do we care?" – but for the chronically online, this is amazing. The kid is (was) a student manager for McNeese St. and has gone mega-viral the past few weeks. The yin and yang of Amir Khan, the hero, and Will Wade, the villain, will be awesome online. I'm glad State got this kid to be a graduate manager.

It’s a crazy story. Love that video I linked.

Matt Norlander reported that he has 12 NIL deals worth over six figures.

“This is not a rebuild,” Wade said. “We’re going to be in the top part of the ACC next year and we’re going to be in the NCAA Tournament.
“This is not something that’s going to take a whole lot of time.”

Well, since four players have already announced they are in the portal, it looks very much like a rebuild to me.

Lots of bravado in the presser. Talk of a reckoning with the ACC. Not sure if that is the right word, but Moo U fans on PP think the other two schools have ruined the league and had things go their way.

I want NC State to be good, as it is to the benefit of the league, but Wade is going to discover he has entered the roughest neighborhood in CBB.

Seems like Wade could have found a suit that fits his body for his introductory presser.
yea, but not as bad as the suit Midnight Mike wore for his intro presser at Texas A and M. It looked like he bought it at Men's Warehouse on his trip from the airport to the Texas A and M campus.

It's always easy to talk big at these intro press conferences and you're expected to tell the faithful that you will bring them to the promised land. Goes with the territory.

Seriously? Maybe 15 years ago... right now only four teams made the NCAA and only one of them made it out of the Round of 64.

Roughest neighborhood... LOLOLOLOL...maybe when you think about all the run down buildings, broken programs, newbie coaches.... It's pretty rough looking.

Maybe he meant Durham.

Your boy is going to find how "run down" those two programs are over the next few years.
