Agree and he doesn’t look good in red. Pack may be competing against Indiana and possibly Arizona State for Wade. Not sure if Wade would prefer Indy since their conference a step up from whatever conference McNeese State is in.No offense to Coach K, but I really don't want State to hire an old retired coach regardless of how good they might have been.
State grad, so in the “family”!Bucky is theoretically available
Making no excuses for Keats but what if they had put that money into NIL?Evidently Keats gets $8 M which I think is more than Hube will get
My immediate response is to wonder who are the replacement candidates.
Is ASU planning to fire Hurley????Agree and he doesn’t look good in red. Pack may be competing against Indiana and possibly Arizona State for Wade. Not sure if Wade would prefer Indy since their conference a step up from whatever conference McNeese State is in.
And Bucky is a State grad.Bucky is theoretically available
Will Wade would be an electric hire for State. Will Wade would be a tremendous hire in this age of TP and NIL. He's a coach.
On the hot seat for sure.Is ASU planning to fire Hurley????
Well played, you managed to take a dig at both Duke and the Cheats with one statement. No offense to Coach K, but I really don't want State to hire an old retired coach regardless of how good they might have been.
If the 8/9 game in the ACC tournament used to be known as the Les Robinson Invitational, does that mean we now have the Kevin Keatts Non-Invitational?And regarding that last bit, finishing in the first, sad trio of schools to actually be disinvited from the conference tourney without malfeasance or pandemic reasons.
I didn’t look at it that way. We were real lucky to beat Houston when their best player was hurt early and not sure we were getting past Marquette until Pack beat them.ruined our season last year and for what
State shouldn’t be finishing 16th out of 18 teams in a shell-of-itself ACC. There’s a heckuva lot of real estate between “perennial national power” and where they are rn.Its unfortunate. As others have said this makes the job unattractive and makes the program look even worse. They have now gone through 5 coaches. But last year's run was a fluke just like UNC in 2022. It makes me question whether the program and leadership are the problem not the coach. NC State can not attract the type of talent (elite) to take the program to another level IMO.
Houston remembers...I don't want to see them again this year !I didn’t look at it that way. We were real lucky to beat Houston when their best player was hurt early and not sure we were getting past Marquette until Pack beat them.
And bluntly, no one was beating UConn in the tourney.
5 coaches? In how many years? Its unfortunate. As others have said this makes the job unattractive and makes the program look even worse. They have now gone through 5 coaches. But last year's run was a fluke just like UNC in 2022. It makes me question whether the program and leadership are the problem not the coach.
