FB: 2024 Bowl Games

I thought the key, maybe even moreso than Notre Dame improving its offensive approach, was the adjustments Coach Freeman made defensively. Penn State just killed them with the run in the first half, including that absolutely brutal 17 play TD drive. They had a lot of rushing in that drive, and others in the first half, and they were controlling the game with their offensive line. But the Irish adjusted, limited Penn State's rushing in the second half, made Allar make plays (I didn't think he was very good at all) and were able to turn the tide.

Question is what do Penn State fans think of Coach Franklin? His record against top opponents is well-documented and terrible. But he does win consistently and did get them to the semifinals of the playoff and had an excellent chance to get to the finals. Are they happy with where the program is under him (as tons of other programs would be) or are they unsatisfied with him due to not winning the big ones?
As someone who lives amongst many PSU grads/fans a little over an hour from State College, I would say the hardcore fans are frustrated by Franklin and are saying PSU cannot win a championship. For the people who would not go to a fan website but follow the team, those people support Franklin and are generally happy with the state of the program.

That may be true, but the team with the best player doesn't always win. Fortunately for Texas, each team fields 11 players at a time; and only one player for Ohio State can wear #4.
Someone said the player talent is even. I think Ohio State has the most talent. I don’t think I said anywhere that the team with the best player wins.

Although #4 completely dismantled the Oregon defense.

Ohio state has a huge advantage with skill players. I’ll take OSU by a couple TDs.

Over/under on the number of times they show Matthew McConaghey on the sidelines for Texas? Please have it be low. We’ve seen it. We get it. Big fan. Has an orange jacket. Got it.
I guess you’re not a fan of Tay Tay sightings at the Chiefs either?

Way too late for this decision, but Manning would be better in this game than Ewers. At least he could extend plays with his legs.

Ewers has always been overrated, imho. I don't think he makes it in the NFL.
