Complete dominance in the first half.....the Mustangs pinned back in their defensive third for most of the opening 45 minutes
 
Unfortunate chance goes begging there. Duke with an early 2-on-1 break, but the wide open look from the center of goal goes right at the keeper.

Shortly after, SMU gets a bit of a breakaway, and Freeman comes up with a great full-body save.
 
A nicely worked build-up down the left side leads to a tight cut-back and a solid finish from well inside the box by Mary Long. 3-0 Duke!
 
In other news, UNC knocked off UVA 3-2 yesterday

Ulmark breaks a 2-2 tie with a late game winner
