Duke Field Hockey 2024

#9 Duke vs #15 Syracuse. Another 0-0 tie after regulation plus 2OT and then a shootout.
This time Duke wins the shootout 3-1. Still no regular goals for 4+ games.
Their ranking is going to slip a ways.

#12 Duke at #20 Cal. Duke takes a 2-0 lead in the 1st half. 1st goal in over 300 minutes.

#11 Duke wins at unranked Wake Forest, 2-0. It was the 4th straight shutout for Duke and GK Frederique Wollaert.
Duke goes to 8-4 on the season, 4-1 ACC and 4-4 against Top 20 teams (3 of the losses were against Top 10 teams).
Wollaert had a 0.39 goals against average going into this game, the lowest in D1.
 
#11 Duke defeated NR Louisville 3-0 in L'ville. Goals by van Oirschot, Massey and Crouse.
This was the fifth straight shutout for Duke and GK Wollaert who leads D1 in GAA at 0.35 before today.
Total goals on the season in live action are 24-5 for Duke (not counting the two shootouts).
Duke goes to 9-4 overall and 5-1 ACC. They are tied for third in the ACC behind UNC and BC.
Duke plays #29 VCU on Sunday, followed by #9 BC and #1 UNC to finish the regular season.
 
#6 Duke vs #2 uNC in Durham. Unfortunately, the cheats scored in the first minute of play.
That breaks the 7-game defensive scoreless streak for Duke. The winner is regular season ACC champion.
