It really hurts to lose a game like that, but somebody had to lose. You would think the Dodgers would have a big advantage now after stealing that game, and with the crushing nature of the loss for the Yankees, but this team is very resilient. I expect them to come back and take game two. And at that point the advantage would shift to New York.

I just have a feeling of inevitability about this Yankees team.

Well, it didn’t turn out quite as I had hoped. Game 3 in New York is now a must-win for the Yanks.

I'm a Yankees fan. I thought Lux looked safe. Unlike Stanton, who looked like he was running in mud. The third base coach needs to know he has a slow runner and the ball was shallow - dumb to send Stanton. Aargh.

some of the very best days of my baseball life...MLB owes me (at least I think they do), they moved my Dodgers out from under me when I was a kid, then they stole my Expos out of Montreal when I was an adult going to games frequently. Pfffft.

That was embarrassing. What a low class move. If he had just caught the ball one could argue he was entitled to it. But opening up Betts' glove and taking it out was ridiculous. Did he really think no one would see what he did? I hope he was kicked out. I'm sure his loser buddies with the sunglasses think he is cool.

Yanks keep making small dumb plays.
