Teri Garr RIP

Yes, this one hurts. I've loved Teri Garr for decades. Quirky, feisty, lovely, she grabbed the camera when she was on screen. In real life she was admirable and brave too. The world is poorer with her passing.

I will have a commemorative viewing of Young Frankenstein sometime soon. That one is easy to find on the ether waves.

Her role in Mr Mom in helping her infantile husband and boss accept her as an equal is fantastic.

RIP.

I think her obvious intelligence is what made her sexy and someone I would love to be friends with (or more! 😊). There were prettier actresses out there, but none more beguiling.

"Fresh Air" replayed an old interview of her. Among other things, it covered her dancing in 6 Elvis movies and memories of hanging out with him, which largely consisted of watching Elvis watch TV, although she did say that he had a great sense of humor.
