Proctor Knee Vigil

Right at the end of the first half. It looked like a hyperextension of his left knee while backtracking on defense. Tyrese went off limping into the lockerroom and did not come out for 2H.

I missed it. Details??

Tracking back on a fast break, junior Tyrese Proctor contested a layup attempt by Divine Ugochukwu. The two bumped knees and Ugochuwku landed on Proctor’s foot. The awkward landing immediately put the Australian in pain, as he hobbled directly into the locker room before the Duke medical staff could reach him.

In the final minute of the first half, Proctor jumped to contest a shot at the rim on a fast-break opportunity for the Hurricanes and came down awkwardly on his left leg. The junior guard immediately reached down to grab the area around his left knee before limping into the tunnel.

After halftime, ESPN announced Proctor would be out for the rest of the game with a left knee injury.

I just saw the clip. Is best case scenario that it was bumping knees? Or is that sonething that can create an acl tear? I'm holding my breath that the fact that he didn't immediately fall to the floor but hobbled rapidly is a sign of non structural damage.
