Wouldn’t mind seeing some experimentation tonight at PG with Kon being the facilitator with some dribble pen and kick out or more two-man with Coop. Would also like to see how we can get Kham either positioned better to score or more of a lob threat with aforementioned dribble pen from our guards.

I think we will see a lot of PG Kon tonight. It worked too well against Kansas not to go back to it.

Would Jon consider going to Kon as the full-time PG creator for the team? Those 14 assists vs only 5 turnovers against the top teams prove he can value the ball and make plays.

I doubt it will happen. You lose Kon as a primary catch and shoot threat. But it must be something Jon is at least thinking about.

It might be a worthwhile sacrifice of some of KK’s catch and shoot if he can help raise our overall offensive efficiency as a facilitator. Especially if he can get more open looks for our other guards or more space for Coop. Or maybe there is a best of both if he shows an ability to shoot 3s off the dribble a la Tyus, but Kon has struggled at the perimeter with less space.
