Honestly, my guess is that our opponents will be quite content with any perimeter jumpers from our bigs (Flagg included). That feels like our least efficient offensive approach. Especially Brown and Maluach.

Not saying those guys should never take them, but I suspect teams are going to encourage that shot until our bigs give them a good reason not to do so.
Agreed. Let's keep rolling with shots at the rim and catch-and-shoot 3s by our snipers.

1 turnover and just fabulous defense at the half.

Was nervous at the start but we're clearly the better team.

If not for their unconscious run on 3's to start we'd be up 20.

As players got tired and the game loosened up, our talent really rose to the top.

It's such an advantage having Sion Maliq Mason play either against their second teamers or tired first teamers. This will be the underreported story of the season - how much better our 6-8 are than the opponents.

And sheesh. Man Man is such a freak out there.

Duke weathered that early 3pt shooting barrage from Kentucky and then put their imprint on the game,

Great defensive tenacity. Strong offensive gameplan. Not forcing shots. Dominating the paint. Getting out in transition when possible.

More of that in the second please. Less reaching in too!

This was a great half of basketball. UK played great to start. Duke D got to them as the half went on. Proctor and Flagg were excellent. Kon made a few later. Love the D, although fouled too much at the end. Defense was stellar last 12 minutes

We also shot poorly from 3.....and Cooper sat a good chunk with 2 fouls.

They could go into overdrive this next half.
