Thought we needed a thread to discuss non-ACC coaching changes.
I'll start:
Houston assistant hired at Louisiana. (Yes, he'll stay until the end of Houston's season.)

So I’m probably forgetting something but right now the open P5 jobs are Indiana, Iowa, Virginia, Villanova, and NC State right?

Minnesota too. The AD, who is on the committee, flew back Thursday and fired him in the middle of the night.

Ahh, Tobin, we hardly knew ye...

Interesting story. He was America's sweetheart when he led Fairleigh DIckinson to upset wins in the tournament a few years ago. When Pitino left Iona, Anderson upgraded to the Iona job (very close by also). He signed a five year contract and has basically been .500 each of the past two years, so not awful, and now they owe him a bunch of money. Obviously following Pitino was not going to be easy, but it seems like they had no patience.

Iona's had a lot of success the last 15 or so years. Pitino, obviously, but before him Tim Clues was really good, making the NCAA tournament six times in nine seasons before he stepped down for health reasons. Before him it was Kevin Willard. After that run of good coaches maybe they're getting big for their britches.
