Look what I found! The 82-50 game.

I would love to own a recording of the 1998 game, which is right up there with 2010 as my favorites. I would argue that it was an even more impressive win given how badly we had lost to UNC in the years leading up to it, and the drama of Elton coming in off his injury and erasing that huge deficit... just an amazing game. Cameron was rocking like nothing we've seen since then.

I have lifetime Champion Dad status because I let my wife and 10 year old son use my tickets for the 1998 Duke-UNC game. They still talk about it.

Thank you so much for sharing this, I've also been looking for years!

I was a senior and in attendance at this game, so I've never seen the broadcast. Watching this, I was able to see a sequence that I noticed in person, but never have been able to see again that emphasized K's coaching. In the first half with about 8 to 6 minutes remaining, there were several instances of defensive lapses by the Plumlees (mostly Miles). Coach K calls a timeout, even though we're up big, to chew them out. I vividly remember seeing from the student section the Plumlees sitting on the bench right after, both with tears in their eyes. Fast forward to about 14 minutes left in the 2nd half, Miles gets a steal while hedging on a screen. Multiple players congratulate him and then K calls him over for a big hug. And then of course, the alley oop to finish the game. So gratifying to finally see that again!
