Finally going to Cameron for a game

After years, finally going to a game at Cameron. Going to see them play Seattle Nov 29th. Any decent place to eat on campus or should we look elsewhere? We're staying at the JB Duke hotel after the game.

The Brodhead Center (old West Union) has a dozen restaurants to choose from. I eat there whenever I can.

I haven’t been to a game since senior year, 1974. Atmosphere seems to have changed a bit since then. Perhaps a trek is in order.

I would ask at the hotel. That is over Thanksgiving break so on campus options might be limited. I have eaten at the JB Duke and it was fine. But there are a lot of great places to eat in Durham (there are some threads on that) that could be more interesting/fun.

Good point about dining options over Thanksgiving. Last year the Brodhead Center and the Bryan Center reopened on the Saturday after T'giving. There will probably be a Duke or Chronicle announcement in a week or so.

though the atmosphere when the students aren't around tends to be a bit subdued...

Try Geer Street Garden. At least look at the menu. A couple of friends took us there when we visited this past spring. Our friends raved about the Fish Taco.
