Love the optimism!Sorry. Duke is the better team...
If it's on the current track, the field may be wet but the skies clear. The system will have moved into western Va/Kentucky by game time. If it stalls this week though, have your poncho ready.I think this game might be played in very poor weather. Lots of rain. The soon-to-be-named storm "Helene" is currently projected to be over Western NC on Saturday. Let Bob Green address the Team - RUN THE BALL.
let's see how that prediction ages. I never like playing a team after they've been humiliated, and Duke still has a lot of holes in its game.Sorry. Duke is the better team...

I wouldn't take those odds.So there is a better than 50% chance we could enter the Georgia Tech game at 5-0 here in Atlanta?
GT is a really fun away game. Better if we win.I'm not looking ahead, but of course I am. I typically only get to see Duke football in-person every other year for this game.
That game still haunts me. That and the VTech game with the Ross Martin field goal. I don’t think the Cut era ends any different given the stubbornness and refusal to cut coaches in need of firing, but I do wonder what may have been for a few more years there. 2 Coastal titles back-to-back and our ‘cruiting my have been a bit differentLove the optimism!
However, as a counterpoint, that lot down the road still has better recruited talent, Mack is undefeated against us since 41-0, and they seem to have a way of pulling something out of a hat against us.
In 2014, they allowed 70 in an embarrassing loss to ECU. Later that year, with a huge Thursday night ESPN spotlight and a packed Wallace Wade, with our second straight division title in sights.... they absolutely wrecked us. Please football gods, do not let that happen again. If ever we were owed a close win in a series, it'd be against them.
