Dukies on the 2025 PGA and LPGA Tours

Alex is playing in Myrtle Beach on the Dunes course. I've only played that course one time and that was back in the early 90s (not score-year). It's beautiful golf course. I think it's now a private course for members, but I could be wrong. When I played it, we had a group of softball players that went to MB for fun, sun and pretend golfers every May. My friend was in charge of getting tee times and he tried to get the Dunes as one of our 4 courses but was denied all but one time. Man, we were excited about playing the Dunes. However, after completition of the round about 90% of the guys said, don't schedule us on the Dunes anymore. Most of the guys had never played a golf course with that many sand traps. I think only one other golfer besides myself broke 90. Most shot in the 100s. Yesterday, I think I heard one of the announcers say that the golf course became an 18-hole course 75 years ago. I believe it's a Robert Trent Jones design. If I was younger, I'd love to play it again.

Celine tied for lead with a few holes left in LPGA tourney in Joisey.

Alex with strong round so far (24th place and 2 holes left) and do I dare say it, will easily make the cut.

Goes into the weekend T22 and 5 shots off the leaders. He has a chance. It was a good day and he probably needs 2 days even better, but he's in the mix. Hoping for a top-5...to be re-assessed after tomorrow. 😁

Alex T9, only 4 shots out of the lead, and 1 shot from 4th. None of these guys in the top-10 are killers, but somebody is going to go low tomorrow and take it. Why not Alex?

I think a -6 wins it, maybe -5.

Not a good next few days forecast for golf. Heavy rains through Wednesday. I have a tournament to play in Tuesday morning at Tanglewood in Clemmons, where the PGA Championship was played back in the 70’s. I think we’ll be rained out 🥲

Me too, I want Alex to get his shot. He's overdue for a good Sunday. Though I don't have much faith in weather.com, it looks to let up and clear for a few hours around 10 before there might be more thunderstorms mid-afternoon. Hope they pass through quickly and the course drains well.
