Other than Cut's last years, has Duke ever underperformed its preseason ranking? I feel like Duke is traditionally under ranked. Which is fine with me.

Duke has 7 games against teams ranked above them and only 1 below (@Wake). While some of those rankings don't make sense to me, it's going to be very hard to finish in the middle of the pack with that much imbalance. UNC didn't get a first place vote but BC did?
 
Duke is almost always misunderestimated by the league media
And with all the portal ins and outs, it's almost impossible to get a handle on things until games begin.

Love that word. First use I can find is from 1897.
