Might I suggest a squirrel-proof birdfeeder? The ones with the rotating base also provide hours of viewing entertainment.I still work from home and my favorite workday side questions is opening my window and yelling at the 3 resident squirrels to get off my bird feeder and watching them bolt.
I have had some successes, but it's an endless war. My partner in crime, a semi-feral cat, passed away two years ago. She was pretty effective until her last year. We now have two young cats in training. So far, they have gotten one mouse we know about. They do spend a lot of time staring at the gopher holes, but I haven't seen them get one yet.You can't stop 'em either?

Yeah, my pup used to love chasing them and if I even whispered squirrel he’d go charging toward the door ready to rock. Getting a bit older and just does t have the fire in the belly.I have had some successes, but it's an endless war. My partner in crime, a semi-feral cat, passed away two years ago. Back when I was in grade school, we would often hear a squirrel fussing away at something. We knew to look for our kitty, usually (as my mom would say) flat as fritter under the tree, with only her twitching tail giving her away.I have had some successes, but it's an endless war. That is high comedy!Might I suggest a squirrel-proof birdfeeder? The ones with the rotating base also provide hours of viewing entertainment.
I have one hanging outside my living room French doors, strategically placed for my entertainment while i relax in my recliner. After a few times getting slung around, the squirrels learn not to try. They just scrounge around on the ground to get whatever is left by the birds feeding.Might I suggest a squirrel-proof birdfeeder? I thought for a minute you strung up a squirrel outside your French doors as a warning to other squirrels. Thought you had taken this to a dark, dark place.I have one hanging outside my living room French doors, strategically placed for my entertainment while i relax in my recliner.
