A couple of uncomfortable items to consider: K2's Shooting, Diaz's Status

don't panic. It's going to be OK, though I agree that the ACC's dive in hoops is very very unfortunate. All in all I think ACC football is doing OK, too bad Miami blew it at Syracuse...
hah...well, first, I'm not panicking. I've known demographics / population / fan base sizes would sink the ACC relative to the SEC and Big Ten for maybe 15 years. I've known the NIL issue would speed it up for several years now. This is not about Miami, Georgia Tech and Clemson blowing leads Saturday they should not have blown.....this is not about one horrible night in hoops.

This is about the inevitable. The collective fan bases of the two super conferences will simply do to the ACC what the US's industrial might did to the Axis in WW2. At some point, over whelm with resources. There is zero way around this future.

OH no, are we back to discussing when Germany bombed Pearl Harbor?

No, she absolutely does not know, and I’d like to keep it that way! 🤐

Not that I’m hiding it from her, necessarily, but some things are just better left unsaid.

But honestly, my neighbor and I are just friends, no different than if I had been in the hot tub with you or Southern. The fact that she’s beautiful is purely incidental. 😉
This thread is worthless without pics!

Assuming this isn't a joke, or sarcasm, one would have to ask, why would he be? He starts and get plenty of minutes, and he seems to have a long leash.
Yeah I wondered where this came from when I read it. I did not entreat with this, but this is either a throwaway comment, a joke, rumor mongering or something someone has heard. But it seemed out of place here. This family has a whole passel of boys and I want to get all of them in the Duke uniform. So I don't want him to be unhappy. And with all them boys I bet their house smells like a locker room.

No need to explain, Steven. I'm sure all of the married men (and women too) or those who have significant others know EXACTLY what you mean.

It's bad enough (and incomprehensible to me) when eating something causes unbearable pain ... it's exponentially worse when expelling it causes the same. I just don't get it.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a good treadmill, ideally under $3000?

Kidding. Just amplifying off topic we have gone on this thread.

Maybe we close it out and lock it?

At the risk of partially returning to the original post, the DBR Pod, to which everyone truly should listen while pondering hot tubs, yacht rock and intestinal issues, had a reporter who mentioned that Kon was off to a poor start shooting 3's against better teams. I will not mention his name so that he is not attacked for making factual statements. He did observe that Jared McCain got off to a similar poor start last year.

Being a fact based person, I checked and thru our games of 12-2-23 Jared was 2-13 vs teams with a pulse and 14-26 against teams without. the reporter's point was that it was normal for freshmen to need to adjust to less space to get off shots, which Jared did for us and has done for Philly early in his rookie year. For the season Jared was 87-210 which equates to an excellent .414% . I hope that K2 shows his adjustment tonight as Auburn is tough, and he and Tyrese together could really open up spacing for us.

Sorry for the coal in the stockings of those hoping for a Yacht Rock Rushmore argument instead of something sports related.

Just curious, did you tell us this 15 years ago?
