2025 Women's Tennis on a roll

Unreal match. With match at 3-2 Duke, Auburn was leading in 3rd set 6-5 and 5-4, respectively, and had simultaneous match points at 1 and 4 singles. The game score was deuce on both courts. Deciding point. Duke won both points. So 1 singles went to tiebreak and 4 went to 5-5. Duke won at 4 singles 7-5 in third, while at 1 singles it was 6-5 in the breaker in favor of Duke.

Hey great report buddy. Were you there? If so, or you could tell from the broadcast, how was the crowds involvement/reaction?
 
I was watching the stats feed…it did get really scary. We won two singles matches quickly (#5 and #6) so we only needed one more. We led in two of the remaining matches, but then split sets. Got up a break in third set on court #1, but then gave it back. It went from looking like we would win easily to looking like we were sure to lose.

I was there, GWD, but not at that moment in time, unfortunately. I got that info from a buddy who was there. I was in my car in the parking lot ready to go. My wife and daughter were pestering me to leave at the time Liv Hovde was up 5-2 in the third. I said to myself that she will win soon so I could ignore the pestering. She lost 3 straight while I was there. I left at 5-5 in Hovde's match. I had to answer to my family so I left.

It was a good crowd. Very into it. But as the match went so long, some left, like me. My buddy reported that the crowd went nuts when Duke saved simultaneous match points at the end. Wonder if that has ever happened before.

Same here. I was following live stats while watching our baseball game.
