2025 Men's Basketball Recruiting

Trilly also predicted the Boozers to Miami in the day or two leading up to the announcement. He even suggested that Uconn was a real possibility for Flagg (though was not foolish enough to go so far as to make a prediction for them).
no, no prediction but the usual fortune teller BS of X is in the lead but Y is coming on strong and you can't rule out Z.

On3's Jamie Shaw says: https://www.on3.com/news/shelton-henderson-names-final-3-schools-duke-louisville-texas/

Shelton Henderson is one of the top defensive stoppers in the 2025 class:

“It is it always the prettiest with Shelton Henderson, but more often than not, the results are productive. Henderson has a lengthy and strong 6-foot-6 frame. He is able to guard all three perimeter positions and can even switch down a lineup to guard the four for some possessions. Henderson gathers deflections in the passing lanes and he is a solid rebounder at his position. A guy who simply does the tough-guy things on the floor that others typically do not want to do.”

“Shelton Henderson is a strong-framed, densely built, explosive wing. Listed at 6-6, he has explosive burst and plays with an innate toughness on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he is comfortable on the ball. He has a good first-step to get by his man and the strength to hold him off with contact. He has good floor vision and makes quick decisions with the ball. Comfortable as a secondary initiator. The jump shoot will need re-tooling. It is inconsistent right now, allowing defenses to sag off and clog the lane. Henderson is a good positional rebounder and he can defend up or down a line up, comfortable containing the one through four at this level. He has an alpha mentality and brings a lot of winning attributes to a team. Production follows him in each setting he has played.”

Shelton Henderson picked up a crystal ball for us. I know they don’t mean everything but there’s smoke
I'm often skeptical of crystal balls because you have to know who is bestowing them. In this case it is John and Adam of the Devils Den, and I trust their judgment...this proverbial cat seems to be out of the bag.

Here's some video from Henderson playing on the FIBA U18 over the summer. You see a player with very long arms that gets out in transition, moves the ball when he's not looking to score, and goes after rebounds. You'll also notice a few other potential future teammates, including Patrick Ngongba, Nikolas Khamenia, and Nate Ament, on the roster.

Henderson averaged 8.0 pts/4.5 reb/1.5 ast/1.3 stl/0.7 blk/0.0 tov on shooting splits of .525/.000/.500 during the 6 games of the FIBA Tournament.
