I have no idea what to expect today. Our offense has looked very effective, but can we put enough points on the board? I think our defense is the real deal this year, but Kansas' offense also might be. Who gets the edge? Looking forward to see the guys come out and fight (I'm also looking forward to seeing clips of Elko's pregame speech...the guy is good).

After reading the article in SI about Coach Elko, I am even more excited. All week I had worried that Kansas had played the better schedule and might overwhelm us. Now I am optimistic we have a coach who can come up with the schemes we need to win as the talent level on both teams is probably about equal.

At first glance last week...I thought there's no way we hold Kansas under 50...they put up 42 (regulation) at WVA and 48 at Houston...over 50 in their other cupcake game...especially after seeing Northwestern crap the bed.

So I was thinking something like 52-35 Kansas. Duke maybe 1 in 5 chance of wining. After kind of looking closer at WVA and Houston...I'm feeling a bit better. Also, Duke laid a couple of eggs at home with big crowds - as Cut was rebuilding the program. Maybe Kansas will have that issue too.

All of that to say, I agree...I HAVE NO IDEA what to expect today either...

Inside and outside the stadium, their fans are super-hyped up. Hope it Carries over to their team. Must say, their fans have been very friendly so far.

They’re in all red except their white helmets. Doesn’t look as good as all white (or our all blue from last week.)
